Our process begins with a thorough evaluation. The most critical step in mold remediation is thorough inspection and testing of the property by an experienced and certified indoor environmentalist to determine the cause of mold growth. Once the root of the problem is figured out, we decipher how to contain the mold and minimize the spread of it any further into the home.
Throughout the process, we ensure everything stays clean by protecting them with tarps. Personal items and surfaces that will not be disturbed during demolition are HEPA vacuumed to remove mold spores and minimize contamination of clean areas. Carpeting, trim, drywall, subflooring, and insulation are carefully removed within the containment, sealed in plastic bags, and removed from the building.
During the process, an antimicrobial is applied, and visible surface mold is scrubbed using an antimicrobial cleanser to minimize the opportunity for regrowth of mold. HEPA equipped air washers are used to remove the last traces of airborne mold spores, and testing is carried out after 1-3 days of recirculation.
Once testing is complete, and we have evidence that mold is reduced, a certification of completion is issued. We go the extra mile to ensure that the mold in your home does not spread and is removed.
